Statement of the Job:
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Marketing Director develops and implements marketing strategies that will promote the mission of BCHS primarily to grow enrollment but also enhance the reputation of the school within the community and foster alumni relationships. This position will work closely with the Principal, and others on Administration, to assure that marketing strategies align with school’s strategic plan.
The Marketing Director strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education; shows evidence of knowledge of the Catholic philosophy of education; promotes gospel values and Catholic moral teaching; upholds the doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church; provides opportunities for students to be prepared for life in today’s Church and society.
Duties of the job:
- Develop strategy for increasing enrollment through a marketing program and support implementation of the marketing plan
- Develop and maintain marketing budget, including monthly reporting and tracking
- Develop strategy for measuring and tracking all marketing projects and activities
- In partnership with the Admissions Director, strategize recruiting events, such as 8th Grade Day, Open House, and HS fairs, and ensure successful operation of event(s)
- Develop and implement social media plan to increase traffic and engagement for all available platforms, including approval of all content and postings.
- Manage website strategy and approve all content updates, including approval of all new content.
- Responsible for brand standardization, including communication and oversight of any and all new materials which utilize BCHS name or logo, while acting as final design approval for all projects.
- Oversee development of new and refreshed marketing collateral ensuring projects are on time and on or at budget.
- Responsible for public relations strategy and oversight of external resources, including approval of all new content.
