Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the President & Principal, the Director of Program Administration for Xavier’s BRIDGE Student Wellness Program performs strong management, operations, budgeting, and reporting skills – as well as a commitment to Catholic education – and will work in conjunction with the school’s Behavioral Health Therapist to manage Xavier’s expanding student wellness program; and performs other job related duties required or assigned in accordance with all applicable policies of the Diocese of Phoenix
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Manages Wellness Program operations, budgeting, reporting and program administration
- Works with the Xavier student body to promote the importance of belonging, connection & engagement
- Works with students regarding academic, social, and emotional challenges and balancing expectations and demands.
- Schedules speakers and student/parent events and initiatives
- Works with the Behavioral Health Therapist for the student/faculty committee
- Works with a variety of constituency groups to provide resources for the Xavier community
- Helps plan, organize and communicate all events related to the Wellness Program
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active, practicing Catholic, faithful to the Church’s magisterium.
- Dedication to the philosophy and mission of the school.
- Knowledge of and respect for the history and traditions of the school.
- Successful professional experience in management, operations, program administration, budgeting, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, communications, management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, planning, organization, and implementation skills.
- Strong commitment to the overall well-being of Xavier’s student body, and to the importance of belonging, connection, and engagement.
- Understanding of the rigors of the high school experience, especially for young women, as well as the academic, social, and emotional challenges of balancing its many expectations and demands.
- Ability to implement Xavier’s expanding BRIDGE Student Wellness Program, in conjunction with the school’s Behavioral Health Therapist, including moderating a student/faculty committee,
scheduling speakers and student/parent programming, planning events and initiatives, budgeting and budget tracking, and quarterly reporting.
- Effective relationship management capabilities with a variety of constituency groups, including students, teachers and staff, parents, alumnae, food services, program donors, community resources, and the Office for Mental Health Ministry at the Diocese of Phoenix.
- Collaborative leadership style and dedication to working effectively with the school President, Principal, Behavioral Health Therapist, and other administration/faculty/staff members.
