STEM Teacher (K–8) Job Description

Purpose and Scope

Under the general supervision of the principal, the STEM Teacher strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education while delivering high-quality instruction in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The teacher assumes responsibility for leadership in the classroom; works collaboratively as a member of the school faculty; develops an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment; evaluates the needs of each student; integrates faith and reason; monitors and reports student progress; builds positive relationships within the school community; participates in ongoing professional development; and performs other duties as assigned.
