Reports to:                  Director of Food Service

 

General Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Food Service, the employee performs cafeteria and other duties as required or assigned in accordance with all applicable policies of the Diocese of Phoenix.

 

 Essential Job Functions

 

• Assist with food preparation and meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, serving area, and dining room.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Provide courteous service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain an acceptable work environment to pass all health department inspections.
• Teach staff correct procedures of efficient serving, sanitation and economy of operation.
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned by Director of Food Service and/or Principal.
